About Mary Jeanne

I'm MJ Sheveland, a Broker with RE/MAX Equity Group in Clackamas County. I love working with clients in the Canby area, including; Wilsonville, West Linn, Clackamas/Happy Valley & beyond. In fact, I've helped clients as far north as Columbia City & St. Helens, as well as Turner & Jefferson near Salem. I am a true local, the 3rd of 4 generations to call Canby home. AND, both sides have called Oregon home for at least 2 generations before that. As a kid, I loved that both sets of grandparents lived right here in town. Most of my aunts, uncles, & cousins still live close by. Before becoming a Realtor, I taught school for 10 years & still volunteer as a mentor today. In my first year of sales, I was awarded RE/MAX Equity Group: Rookie of the Year. That momentum has never slowed. In fact, in 2024 and again in 2025, I received the Summit Award for being one of the Top 25 agents with RE/MAX Equity Group.

Buying & selling can be a challenge. I frequently discuss local trends with friends & neighbors. My clients benefit from the expertise I can share. There's a lot of misinformation in the media about the real estate industry & it's important to have a trusted advisor you can count on.

My exposure to the real estate world is long standing. Mom, started selling real estate when I was in college, working as a broker for 20 years. My access to knowledge & experience runs deep, too. Dad joined the field after "retiring" from a career as a regional sales manager in the pet food industry. He was managing broker in Canby for 9 of his 13 years. I was blessed with the opportunity to partner with him my first year. His support & mentorship has been invaluable. I still love 'talking shop' with both my parents. It has helped me elevate my practice.
